All orders with Free and Standard Shipping automatically include insurance coverage up to $100. Additional insurance options are available for your consideration. Please be aware that in the event of a claim, we can only replace items up to the amount of insurance purchased.

Exchanges & Returns

Happy customers are our main priority and we will make all the necessary adjustments to ensure your Diane Kroe design meets your expectations. At Diane Kroe every garment is made to order in our Toronto studio by our hard working, super talented sewers who are hand-picked because of their sewing expertise and attention to detail. Diane pays her sewers fair wages, by the piece, for every garment they make, for this reason, purchases are non-refundable but happily exchanged.

Trunk Show Orders - Cancellations & Exchanges

At Diane Kroe, we're committed to crafting each piece with love and care, ensuring it meets our high standards of quality and ethics. As part of our dedication to sustainability and reducing waste, we operate on a made-to-order basis, allowing us to minimize our environmental footprint and uphold ethical manufacturing practices. See Return Policy FAQ.
We are happy to alter custom orders but we cannot resell them as they were made just for you!
All discounted sale items (Excluding Trunk Show promos or Birthday Codes) are final sale (as noted on the sale collection page). If you choose to return your discounted sale item we will consider it a donation and gift it to our charity of choice on your behalf.
We offer exchanges or adjustments within 15 days of receiving your order (if you're travelling not to worry just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate you with more time) - simply mail your item along with your order information and include a note on how we can improve your purchase expectations to:

U.S. and overseas customers must have "Canadian Goods Being Returned" in bold letters on the outside of their package.
List package value as $30 to avoid customs rebate paperwork.
For best results use postal service.
Let Bob, our production manager, know your package is on its way by contacting us here. If there is no note in the package for your exchange we will set it aside until we hear from you.

Shipping costs for exchanges will be split 50/50 - you pay to send your exchange to us at the most cost efficient rate (Postal Service recommended) and we will pay to send your new and perfect Diane Kroe design back to you.
Note: Please do not send your package C.O.D it will automatically be returned to sender.
For an exchange, please note that merchandise must not be worn, washed or damaged. All size labels must be intact especially for reversible items. If the item is not in the resalable condition we must send it back to you. If you feel your order is flawed, or we have made an order error, please contact us and we will take care of it immediately and send you a gift card to cover shipping costs.

Please note** Customers are responsible to pay taxes and duties on packages that do not have visible "Canadian Goods Being Returned" labeling on them.

Made Just For You

Because every Diane Kroe design is made to order, our delivery times may vary. We aim for 2 to 3 weeks to make our regular designs and 4 to 6 weeks if you have asked for customizations. Orders outside of Canada take a bit longer due to customs processing and distance. Our regular customers prefer to order in advance if they have a special date in mind. If you have a vacation coming soon or rush order please let us know in the "order notes" and we will try our very best to accommodate your request. If you have placed a Pre-Order at one of our virtual Trunk Shows or promotions the delivery dates will vary. We will have given you an approximate ETA at the event. You can also check the product page for more details.

Lost weight and need an alteration? No worries we'll be happy to make any adjustments necessary just follow the instructions above and send $25 per alteration in your package with adjustment details.


We try our best keep our shopping cart current, though sometimes we may unexpectedly sell out of a fabric. We will be happy to send you a full refund if there is no other option to your liking.
*Note: If you received an item as a gift and want to exchange it just let us know.
